White Room, Soi Gonzo 9, Phuket
White Room Review - What to Expect
The White Room is one of the younger players in the Patong beach night club scene having opened in Soi Gonzo 9 off the Bangla Road in early 2015. They attract a mainly high class expat and tourist crowd.
The layout and decor is impressive with it’s sophisticated clean looks and large open spaces. Although entry is free, they do operate a smart and classy dress code so if you turn up looking anything less than your best then you may get turned away.
True to it’s image, as a high-end night time experience in Phuket, The White Room’s bottle service starts at around 3,000 baht a bottle although that does include some mixers and ice.
The main bar which is positioned below the ‘Deluxe’ floor offers fantastic views across the whole club with comfortable seating for around 50 people while their large dance floor dominates the middle of the club. There is also a VIP area which has around a dozen tables and a cocktail bar.
The club wasn’t as wild, packed or crazy as some of the other night clubs and bars in Patong Beach that we have visited but then experience is clearly aimed at a more sophisticated, ‘hi-so’ crowd.
The DJs rattled through a varied mix of the Hip Hop, Dance, House and R & B tunes during the course of the evening and while the crowd were friendly and fun, the atmosphere seemed a little subdued to us. We did have a good night out at The White Room though so if you’re looking for a night out in Patong Beach that is laced with sophistication and class then they are definitely worth a visit.
We have included a few photos taken at The White Room, Phuket below so you can get some idea of what to expect and you can catch up on all their latest news and events via their Facebook page.
