Wonderfruit Festival in Pattaya postponed until February 2017
This year’s Wonderfruit Festival originally planned for December 2016 has been rescheduled until early next year in light of the death of His Majesty the Late King. To observe a 100 day mourning period, Wonderfruit organisers, known as Team Wonderfruit, announced on Friday that the four day festival has been postponed and will now take place between 16 - 19 February 2017. The lineup for Wonderfruit’s third edition remains unchanged for now, while further updates will be posted on its website. Wonderfruit Festival will run at The Fields at the Siam Country Club in Pattaya, Chonburi province. Shuttle buses from Pattaya city center to and from the venue will be available. Tickets previously booked are still valid. Festival go-ers unable to participate on the new dates can seek refunds via Eventpop.
Quoting the announcement, the organisers said:
“Given the current and ongoing situation here in Thailand, as we face the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, we announce the postponement of Wonderfruit. Taking into account the sentiment of the country and the guidelines set by the government of Thailand, we will observe a 100-day grieving period, so we are able to pay our proper respects, in unity with the Thai people.”
We deeply regret any inconveniences this causes to Wonderers and we’re offering refunds to ticket-holders who are now unable to join us. For more information you can go to the Wonderfruit Festival website -http://wonderfruitfestival.com/
