Wild Weather Conditions Forecast Across Thailand This Week
Meteorologists warned people across Thailand against thunderstorms during the first half of this week due to the arrival of a high-pressure system from China and westerly winds from Myanmar.
People living in the North and Northeast of Thailand are advised to be cautious when leaving their homes as tropical and hail storms could knock off trees and billboards.
Provinces to be hit by the storm include Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Phetchabun, Phitsanulok, Phichit, Khampaengpetch, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, and Surin.
Most provinces in the east coast, the central region and the west will also experience the storms. Heavy rains have also been forecast in southern provinces namely Prachuab Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Phuket and Phang Nga.
